SPA ETIQUETTE
To ensure the peaceful and quiet atmosphere of a true sanctuary, we request that you turn off all pagers and cell phones. Personal food and beverages are not allowed in the spa. Tranquility Spa offers a variety of healthy snacks, teas and juices.
Please do not bring small children or pets into the spa.
Guests must the 18 years or older. Visitors 16 or 17 years of age must provide written consent from a parent or legal guardian. Those under the age of 16 may enjoy our spa services only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS
To receive your best selection of treatments, we recommend that you make your appointment three or more weeks in advance, especially if you are planning to schedule multiple services or bring multiple guests.
Please notify us of any special needs.
To guarantee appointments made for three or more consecutive treatments or for groups of two or more guests, we require a major credit card on file.
CANCELLATIONS
Please notify us a minimum of 24 hours in advance if you must cancel or change your appointment.
No-shows and same-day cancellations will be charged in full.
Reservations for three or more consecutive treatments or for groups of two or more guests must be cancelled or changed at least 72 hours prior to appointment time to avoid being charged 50% of the treatment value or being charged in full for a same-day cancellations.
Please understand that late arrivals will result in a shorter treatment time as not to inconvenience the next scheduled guest.
BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL
To be most comfortable during your treatments, avoid eating any large meal within an hour of your appointment. Drink plenty of water and do not consume any caffeine or alcohol on the day of your visit.
Most skin and hair removal services require that you not use a tanning facility for a minimum of 24 hours prior to your treatment time.
ARRIVAL
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out required intake forms and health questionnaires at check-in and to allow plenty of time to change, relax and maybe enjoy a cup of tea.
You will be provided with a robe and slippers. Essential toiletries will be available for your convenience.
Please inquire early for any special needs.
You may keep your belongings in our lockers during treatment time, however, we recommend you not bring your jewelry or other valuables, for guests are responsible for any items left behind.
GRATUITY & TAX
Treatments are not taxed and do not include gratuity. Gratuity is accepted by staff when you receive and appreciate outstanding service. It may be given at your discretion and can be left at the reception desk after checkout.
